Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Lewiston Concrete, concretelewiston.com, hi@concretelewiston.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use the Lewiston Concrete website, ask us for an estimate or hire us for a job. If you use the site or book work with us, you're agreeing to them, so please read them before you do.

If you have a signed estimate or written agreement with us for a specific job, that document controls wherever it differs from these terms. Anything it doesn't cover falls back to what's written here.

Who we are and what we do

Lewiston Concrete is a concrete contractor in Lewiston, ID. We work in Lewiston and the cities around it on both sides of the state line. We build driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, garage floors, foundations, footings and retaining walls, and we do stamped and decorative concrete, foundation raising and concrete cutting. You can read more about our crew on our About page or start at our home page.

What's on this website is general information to help you understand the work. It isn't a quote, a design or engineering advice for your property. Your own job is settled in person at the estimate and in writing before we start.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free and done in person, because we can't price concrete work without seeing the ground, the slope and the access to your house. There's no pressure to book after we come out.

An estimate is based on what we can see and measure that day. If we find something once the old slab is out or the ground is open, like soft or wet subgrade, which is the soil the slab sits on, buried debris, roots or old concrete, we'll stop and talk with you before doing extra work that changes the price.

Changes you ask for after we've agreed on the job, like a bigger area, a different finish or added steel, are priced separately. We'll agree on any change with you before we do it.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We schedule pours around the weather, because concrete placed in heavy rain, freezing cold or high heat can end up weak or flaky on top. If conditions aren't right, we'll move your date, and we'll tell you as early as we can.

Supplier delays, equipment trouble and problems we find on site can also shift the schedule. We'll keep you posted and work with you on a new date, but we're not responsible for costs that come from a delay outside our control.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (208) 848-5044 as soon as you know. Once concrete is ordered or forms are set, you may owe for materials and work already done, and your written agreement will spell out what that covers.

Your part of the job

We need clear access to the work area on the scheduled day, including room for the truck, and we need you to tell us about anything buried that we might hit, like sprinkler lines, septic parts or private wiring. You're responsible for knowing where your property lines are.

Some concrete work needs a permit or HOA approval. Check with your city or county and your HOA before work starts, and bring up any questions about it at the estimate.

After the pour, keep people, pets and vehicles off the new concrete until we tell you it's ready. Curing, the waiting time while concrete hardens and gains strength, can't be rushed, and damage from early use isn't something we cover.

Payment

Your written estimate or agreement sets out the price, any deposit and when payments are due. Unless that document says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

If a payment is late, we may pause further work until it's settled. You're responsible for reasonable costs we have to pay to collect an unpaid balance, as far as Idaho law allows.

What to expect from concrete

Concrete can crack, even when it's built right. We prepare the base, use steel where the job calls for it and cut control joints, which are grooves that give the slab a planned place to crack, but small hairline cracks can still show up and aren't a defect.

Color, texture and finish can vary from one pour to the next and from samples or photos, because concrete is a natural material and weather on pour day affects it. Stamped and colored work in particular won't match an old slab exactly.

Warranties and disclaimers

We're licensed and insured, and we stand behind our work. If something's wrong with a job we did, call us and we'll come out, look at it and make it right where the problem is ours. Any specific written warranty for your job will be in your agreement.

We don't warrant against problems caused by things outside our work, including ground settling or movement, water running onto the slab from gutters or neighboring property, tree roots, de-icing salts, heavy equipment beyond what the slab was built for, freeze damage from lack of care, or changes someone else makes later.

Except as stated in your written agreement, our work and this website are provided without other warranties, to the extent the law allows. That includes implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Lewiston Concrete's total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, like lost use of your driveway, lost income or damage that follows from a cause we didn't create.

Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

If we disagree

Most problems get solved with a phone call, so please call us first and give us a chance to look at it and fix it. If we can't work it out between us, we'll each consider mediation before going to court.

Any lawsuit about these terms or our work will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Idaho, and you and Lewiston Concrete agree to those courts' jurisdiction.

Which state's law applies

These terms and any job we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, where we're based. That applies even when the job is in one of the Washington cities we serve, except where Washington law requires otherwise for work done there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. A change won't alter the terms of a job you've already signed for unless we both agree to it in writing.

How to reach us

If you have a question about these terms or about a job, call us at (208) 848-5044 or send us a message through our Contact page. We reply within one business day.
